Mexico VC Day 2016, San Francisco

The Mexican Association of PE & VC Funds, AMEXCAP held the Mexico VC Day in San Francisco on October 20th. As you know, the main goal of the event was to place Mexico in the spotlight as a great opportunity for Venture Capital investments and attract international entrepreneurs, Limited Partners (LPs) and US based GPs toward Mexico. This year we gathered 53 personalities who shared their specialized views on the Venture Capital sector in Mexico throughout the day.

This year’s edition of the México VC Day included over 192 attendees (27% GPs, 40% Entrepreneurs and Businessman, 9% Advisors, 13% LPs, 5% allies and 6% government and international organizations). We sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed our conferences and panels, as well as the opportunities for networking, aimed to develop and strengthen bonds between industry players.

We hope that we were able to spotlight the optimistic ecosystem for Venture Capital in Mexico and to expose why Mexico is such an attractive destination for global investors, highlighting the next opportunities to unlock the power of VC in Emerging Markets, the new trends in investing and innovation in Silicon Valley as well as the opportunities that government and private initiatives provide us in terms of competitiveness to make Mexico an important hub between the US and LatAm.
