  • Protego Evercore acquires 33% stake in Intellego (March 30, 2012):link
  • Protego makes US$50 million investment to acquire a 20% stake in Mexicana de Gas, a distributor of natural gas and subsidiary of Grupo Diavaz (Pablo Rión y Asociados).
  • WAMEX Private Equity, through its fund MIF II, announced a minority investment in Water Capital, an integrative provider of environmental solutions. For over ten years, Water Capital has been designing, installing, operating and financing water treatment plants and more recently, renewable energy photo voltaic panels. This is the third investment of MIF II, which includes capital raised in 2009 through a CKD. The fund's two other portfolio companies are Hoteles City Express and Health Digital Systems.
